A public record ofwho makes work here

The registry is a searchable directory of artists working across Northern Virginia — painters and printmakers, bands and choirs, poets, puppet companies, potters and collectives. Anyone can search it: curators looking for a commission, a school booking a workshop, a neighbor hiring a muralist.

Each listing is written and maintained by the artist. Filters cover discipline, artist type, county, career level, genre, and the kinds of engagements an artist takes on, so a search can be as broad as "performing in Arlington County" or as specific as a mid-career printmaker who leads workshops.

The registry does not rank, jury, or endorse. Being listed means an artist told us they work here and what they work on.
